In 2006 Ajit was diagnosed with Parkinsons which was a huge shock to both Ajit and his family. Someone who was so happy and lively was thrust into a state of depression that fortunately he was able to leave and try and live a comfortable life with the medication reducing the Parkinsons symptoms.
